FAQ’s
+ What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years and is a natural, trance-like state, where we can become suggestible to new ways of thinking. In its simplest form, it can simply involve creating emotion and making a suggestion. Deeper levels for hypnotherapy purposes use hypnosis relaxation techniques used by a hypnotherapist.
It may also be simpler to define hypnosis by what it can do, as it is an excellent method through which we can access our inner potential to create a positive and beneficial personal change.
+ Who can be hypnotised?
Virtually everyone can be hypnotised, however, some people are more readily hypnotisable than others. Effectiveness can also depend on one’s willingness to be hypnotised at the time.

If you are already convinced it won't help you, then it is definitely not for you. However, if you are open-minded or you have seen a hypnotherapist before and know it will help you, then it is definitely for you.
I also recommend you watch the BBC investigative documentary on hypnotherapy available free on YouTube called The Science of Hypnosis
+ Who is hypnotherapy not recommended for?
Hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone with epilepsy, or anyone diagnosed as being clinically depressed or having a depressive illness, or a psychosis condition.
There will be a questionnaire for you to fill in and sign, which will include stating that you do not suffer from these.
+ How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need between one and four sessions. It is quite rare for anyone to require more. Typically, if more than one is required, they are spaced out at one or two week intervals, but this can be altered to suit.
